📉 Why Did the Indian Stock Market Fall?

Indian equities came under pressure as crude oil prices climbed and global bond yields increased. Reuters reported that Brent crude rose to around $108 per barrel, while the US 10-year Treasury yield also moved sharply higher, increasing concerns about inflation and interest rates.

Financial and automobile stocks were among the weaker areas of the market. In contrast, IT stocks performed relatively strongly, with the Nifty IT index gaining around 3% during the session.
