Bank Nifty closed at 56,358.70, gaining 302.95 points or 0.54% from its previous close of 56,055.75. HDFC Bank rose 2.52%, AU Small Finance Bank gained 1.86%, Axis Bank advanced 1.37%, Bank of Baroda added 1.14%, and IndusInd Bank gained 0.85%.
